A Jim Corbett wedding happens at a riverside resort on the edge of India’s oldest national park, with jeep safaris for guests between functions. The best months are October to March. The resorts are in an eco-sensitive zone, so fireworks and late music are limited. For 150 guests over three days, expect roughly ₹45.4–95.7 lakh (about US$48,000–100,000).

## Key facts

- Best months: October to March
- Typical budget: ₹45.4–95.7 lakh (about US$48,000–100,000) for 150 guests, 3 nights, 4-star
- Airports: Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi (DEL) — About 6–7 hours by road
- Areas: Ramnagar, Dhikuli and the Kosi river

Corbett National Park, in the Himalayan foothills, is known for its tigers and its forests of sal trees. The resorts are along the Kosi river near Ramnagar, and they’re made for weddings, with large lawns and river views. In winter there are bonfires at night.

Guests spend the mornings on jeep safaris and the afternoons by the river, so for them it’s a holiday as well as a wedding.

## Coming from abroad

Fly into Delhi, then drive six to seven hours to the resorts near Ramnagar, or take an overnight train to Ramnagar station. We organise coaches and private cars for guests.
