The reception is the party after the wedding ceremony, and it’s usually the biggest function, with dinner, speeches, music and dancing. In Kerala it’s often held on the evening of the wedding, or a few days later in the couple’s home town. We plan receptions for anything between 50 and 1,500 guests.

If you’re marrying from abroad, the reception is usually where the Western traditions come in, like speeches and a first dance. We mix them with Indian food and music, and you can cut a cake too.

Yes. Many couples hold the wedding in India and a smaller party at home for people who couldn’t travel.
