You can plan your Indian destination wedding from Canada with MarryLoom. We talk by video call in Canadian hours and quote in Canadian dollars. India’s wedding season runs from November to February, right through the Canadian winter. Your guests leave the snow behind, and the wedding becomes their winter holiday too.

### How much does an Indian destination wedding cost in Canadian dollars?

### Is a marriage in India recognised in Canada?

In most cases, yes. The Government of Canada says a marriage legally performed in another country is usually valid in Canada, and it doesn’t need to be registered there. A ceremony that isn’t a legal marriage is only a celebration, though, so most couples marry legally at home first.

### When is the best time for a Canadian couple to marry in India?

November to February suits most destinations, and it falls in the Canadian winter. Late December books up first, so talk to us early if you want those dates.
