About

A wedding company from Kochi, for couples everywhere

We started MarryLoom because planning a wedding in India from far away should feel warm, not overwhelming.

Who we are

MarryLoom is a wedding planning company based in Kochi, Kerala. We plan weddings across Kerala and destination weddings across India, from backwaters and beaches to palaces and hills, for families in India and for couples abroad, many of whom have never been to India before.

Our name joins two words: marry, and the loom that weaves separate threads into one piece of cloth. The mark is drawn the same way. A violet thread and a lighter one cross nine times, each passing over the other in turn, and hold together as one cloth, the way two families do at a wedding.

Most of our work happens on video calls and WhatsApp with couples in other time zones, and on the ground in Kerala and across India with the vendors, priests, cooks, drummers and decorators who make a wedding feel like a wedding.

  1. Every price in the open

Your budget shows every vendor’s quote. If a commission exists, you see it.

  2. One planner, start to finish

The person on your first call is the person on the lawn on the day.

  3. Your traditions, your way

We explain customs, never impose them. Fusion is welcome; so is a wedding with no rituals at all.

  4. Nothing made up

No invented reviews, no stock “real weddings”, no numbers we cannot back. When something here is a sample, we say so.
