Destination wedding checklist for India (12 months)
What needs doing each month before the wedding, in order. Your ticks are saved in this browser.
How it works
Start twelve months or more ahead. Agree the budget and guest list, choose the destination and decide where you’ll marry legally. Book the venue and send save-the-dates by nine months. Settle décor, food and music by six months, send invitations and visa guidance by three, and approve the run sheet a month before.

Questions couples ask
How far ahead should we plan a destination wedding in India?
Twelve months is comfortable, especially for December and January dates. Six months is possible with flexible dates and a planner on the ground.
When should we send invitations to guests abroad?
Send save-the-dates about nine months ahead and invitations three months ahead, so guests have time for visas and flights.
